Product Description
The primary function of cylindrical pins is to provide positioning, but they can also be used for joining. They are secured in pin holes by means of an interference fit.
Cylindrical pins are typically used for positioning and do not bear any load or only carry very small loads. As a general rule, at least two pins are used, arranged symmetrically along the overall structure of the joined components; the greater the spacing between the pins, the better. The length of each pin within a joint is approximately one to two times the diameter of the pin's smaller end.
